Course Description
This technical laboratory course addresses knowledge and skills related to child growth and development from prenatal through school-age children. These skills can be used to promote the well-being and healthy development of children. Decision-making skills needed for successful parenting is addressed. Students will investigate career options (teachers, pediatricians, neonatal nurses, daycare administrators and workers and parents) related to the care and education of children. Class enrollment is limited.
