AP English IV (Period 3)
Course Description
Exposure to major authors, works, and themes, focusing on literary analysis and poetry from all major periods of British literature. Major works include, but not limited to, Beowulf, The Canterbury Tales, Macbeth, Hamlet, 1984, Taming of the Shrew, Heart of Darkness and Lone Survivor. Heavy emphasis on deeper literary analysis and writing about literature as related to the AP Literature Test.
