Jazz Band I, II, III
Course Description
Emphasis on the theory of music, improvisation, styles and techniques of jazz and small ensemble sound. Performance on jazz festivals, and other events by invitation. Some extra rehearsals from time to time. Students are required to attend all competitions, performances, and outside rehearsals. Membership is by audition and depends upon specific instrumentation needs.
